As a senior advertising executive, a Chief Market Officer, the founder of a global brand advisory, and an investor, maximizing a brand's contribution to enterprise value has been the focus of Mike's professional journey.
Mike's role at Ogilvy & Mather gave him deep experience in strategic planning, concept & campaign development and implementation for global brands that included; Ameritrade, American Express, AT&T Wireless, Delta Air Lines, Goldman Sachs, Motorola and The NFL.
As the founder of Brand Value Advisors, Mike has counseled investor groups that included; Altamont Capital Partners, Bessemer Ventures, Castanea Partners, Forerunner Ventures, Goode Partners, Insight Venture Partners, Rosewood Capital, The Riverside Company, Sun Capital, TPG Growth and Weston Presidio.
Mike has advised and or served as the interim CMO for brands that include; Cannondale, Cobalt Boats, Crystal Ice, Fox Racing, GoPro, Intermix, JetBlue Ventures, Joe Coffee, NetJets, Old Navy, Panera Bread, Rossignol, Sbarro, Skull Candy, Teavana and Tumi.
Based in New York City and San Francisco, Mike continues to work with PE backed consumer brands and invests in category disruptors in the consumer sector. Mike strives to keep up with his kids and to not fall off his horse or his skateboard.
